Hello,

Me and my friend (both on H1b visa from Company A) started a company B (c-corporation). While performing volunteer work for Company B, can we sign PO's/invoices etc. for Company B ?

Or do we have to hire a US citizen or GC holder to perform those activities ?

Any suggestion would be appreciated.

To me it seems that you are already in a grey area by doing "volunteer" work. See http://www.usvisanews.com/faq/business.shtml#business-a

Hiring an US citizen or GC holder for doing any work seems the most prudent thing do.
Best to consult an immigration lawyer.
