How long are ACT test scores valid?

For instance, I know with the GRE the test scores are valid for five years after you have taken the test. What about the ACT?

It's the school you want admission to that makes that decision, not ACT. Some schools will take any ACT score, regardless of how old it might be. Others prefer more recent scores.
