Everyone has different opinions on naming... I personally dont' care for rhyming names like that, but I guess some ppl do. Funny how she hates it now! She should have though long and hard before she named her child! Because that name will be stuck the rest of her life unless it's changed. Oh well, it happens I guess. I love my son's name, and am happy it's not off the wall crazy! lol

That's a terrible name. First of all, the rhyming names sounds retarded, but the first name is far more likely to be pronounced as LAN-YA, not La-ni-ya. It sounds like a mispronounciation of Tonya.

Often the first impression of a person is their name, and if you have to hide your middle name because your parents are either mean or didn't think it through - it's just one more complication in life that could have been avoided. I hate rhyming names.

Really Cute Names, Just not at the same time. Rhyming names are cute for twins and/or same sex siblings that are close in age. My girls names are Aniyah and Nyasiah. Each name is like half of the other. Talk about confusing!

I agree with karley o.

In my opinion, I hate that! When I read it out loud, it just confused me. Big time. Well, too bad for her now that she hates the name! Maybe she shouldn't've tried to be Dr. Seuss before her baby was born. ;P

I don't really like when the names rhyme, it is just being too cutesy and not really classy.
