I have a copy of final fantsy 9 on ps1. On a save point in the game, the option to save comes up, but I am getting the message no memory card found. Yet it saves all my ps2 games ok. Do I therefore need a ps1 memory card to save it to ????

You need to save it on a ps1 memory card, the ps1 memory card works with the ps2

You just need to use a ps1 memory card. Good game choice though- I love ff9 it's well funny at the beginning!

Yes, you need a ps1 memory card. You can usually get them for a couple of bucks at any GameStop.

well its always been like that (annoying) but maybe you could try a ps1 memory card into ps2.
