You have to be ready to subject yoursellf to things that aren't on the local news! And don't be "that cop" that gives everyone a hard time because someone you know on the force got shot by a grandmother of 5 when she got pulled over for running a stop sign. Check www.us.gov for stats on violence per capata of every state. And GOOD LUCK

Alot of the cops in North Georgia(metro Atl) are really getting out of hand. Alot of senseless killings at the hand of bad cops. Ur avatar looks pretty mean so...U might just fit in great if U R looking to be a jerk 2 everyone.

Hotlanta is a large city with alot of crime, pay would probably be decent, but depending on what unit you are with the danger level may be very high
It would really depend on what area you work in

cops are worthless and only necessary in societies where the disparities between those who "have" and those who "have not" are so great that it necessitates protection for those who wish to perpetuate the status quo.
