absolutely....water workouts excercise the entire body because of the water that constantly surrounds u and provides resistance. water workouts are the easiest way to get in shape physically because the entire body is working the entire time!
rigorous water workouts? their fine as long as u dont kill urself and as long as u stay consistant...in other words dont change the amount of laps u swim everyday. try to keep it about the same. as u gradually grow stronger obviously u wanna higher the amount of laps. just make sure u dont overwelm urself.

Sure...Due to the fact that you have more resistance within water than air...So if you were to say run in water after a time you would be faster on land. Due to the less resistance on land.

it doesn't make a difference whether you work out in the water or on land...both have th esame effect.

Sure, people ask me if I lift weights all the time. I tell them I swim that's why I'm muscular.

yes and in the long run it is way better on your body, more resistance, and less joint damage!!!!!!!
