I guess it can make a difference. Some shoes can be overly sensible (serious type). some can be unpractical with to much height and glitter (a shopper)
open toe high heals in winter (likes attention)
I would think someone with skater or low heal shoes it the ready for anything type.
A hiking boot person could get board easy and steal toe wing tip might kick your ***

I think that fashion generally tells a great deal about personality. I always look at peoples shoes. Seeing the types of things that they wear isn't a cut and dry way to tell if you are compatible but it will give you and idea as to what there interests may be.

Somewhat...If the shoes are all raggedy with worn down heels, scuffs, worn fabric, etc., that could be a sign that she's not too concernced about her appearance and there may be other aspects of her lifestyle that she slacks in as well. If the shoes are in good taste, look expensive and are well kept, then you might have a winner. Some of you ladies judge men by their shoes too, so stop frontin'!

This seems like a pretty shallow way to judge if a person is right for you! I guess it could be used as part of your first impression. If they are funky, different, brightly colored, etc. it may tell you that you are dealing with a unique individual! OR - she is trying to break out of her dull life with far out shoes.
If they are shabby, down-trodden, beat up, maybe she feels the same way. OR - they are her favorites and she doesn't put much stock in fashion, only comfort. She holds on to what works for her. Including relationships...

Gosh I hope not I love being barefoot when ever I can--and I hate buying shoes I have one of each kind I need 1 pair heels black goes with most-1pair flat and 1 pair tennis shoes.

No- but he can tell a lot about her if he looks right. Are they clean, stylish, skate shoes, etc. Tells a little about how they care for themselves and their style.
