Is it ok to use your laptop on a bed?, or will it ruin the fan .. or suck up to much dusk or exc...????

You are running exactly the risks you list (heat, dust).

You should really leave an air gap under the base to give some ventilation to the laptop.

However people do it all the time without real problems so while the risk is real it's doesn't often actually result in any problems.

you should of had seen my ex roomamte he was a certified couch potatoes sleeping on his couch all day and having his laptop on his lap all day checking his email every time he wake up sure why not all you have to do is make sure you put your laptop ont he side when you are done unless you want to marry laptop and you sleep iwth the laptopLOL

lol my Dad uses his on his bed all the time!!! Just don't drop it, eat or drink around your laptop unless you are being very careful.

Make sure you prop it on something so that it can ventilate properly. I learned the hard way.

no, the static electricity will wreck it, hve something under it to protect the lptop
