His number use to be 8 but he wanted a new number because he didnt like the number 8 anymore. I dont know why he picked 24 i think that his favorite number or a lucky number or something like that.

He was #8 before. He changed because his old HS# was 24 and he wanted more merchandise sales, since nobody was buying #8 anymore.

he says its because that was his first high school number. but i think its so he can sell more jerseys. i mean everyone has the #8 jersey, now he forces everyone to buy the stupid #24 jersey. its all money in my opinion.
