Now that the NFL season is coming to an end soon and we've seen a lot of rookies make impacts, what are your assessments on them..young, leinart, cutler, bush, jones drew, demeco ryans...etc...i just say the one disappointing rookie has been mario williams.

great rookie class. jones drew fell to the late 2nd round and is a really good RB. demeco ryans is a tackling machine also found in round 2. then you have guys like addai, bush, vince young, leinart, hawk, maroney who have all been good.
cutler has a cannon of an arm and vernon davis missed alot of games due to his broken leg, but he is a load to take down once he gets his hands on the ball. gym rat and is as fast as a receiver in a TEs body. this was a good draft class.
mario williams is doing OK but he will always be compared with bush and young and that aint fair cuz mario wont live up to them. if the texans wanted him so badly they shoulda traded down.

OK as a huge Texans fan, Mario Williams is not a huge disappointment. he is playing with injury and even though he might not have good numbers this season he is still a solid player. now my defensive rookie of the year and should have been voted into the pro bowl is demeco ryans. Lienart was just surrounded with a team that couldn't win. take the Monday night game against the bears. Bush is all right..started playing better towards the end of the season but he isn't my rookie of the year, don't have one yet by the way. i was part of the people that thought young wouldn't be able to run as much as he did in college but i was wrong. he will have a great pro career. overall, pretty good class but funny thing is that guys that weren't picked in the first round or second made better impacts.

Vince Young--the guy just knows how to win, can't take anything away from him for that, gotta give credit to norm chow for not changing his style and not asking him to do too much, he's like a more athletic version of tom brady, a pure winner

Jay Cutler--i still can't believe some of the throws he makes, like that ball that went 63 yards in the air for a TD, my god, what an arm. i think he could be the best out of the big three. i think denver has elway jr. in the making

Matt Leinart--too bad he's on the cards. because he is very good. unusual amount of poise for a rookie, the best pure passer out of all rookie qbs, especially in the pocket, when he sets feet, he's damn accurate, nice touch. arm is stronger than thought. i'm amazed how he can make audibles and checks and everything. that coming from a rookie is special. he's very intelligent and a good passer.

Reggie Bush--thought he was gonna be a bust, but proved me wrong. he's still got it. he's understanding blocking schemes so he knows where to run. got some nice moves. can't wait to see more outta him. he can still be the back he was in college

Maurice Jones Drew--so far, the best back from LA. for a little guy, he knows how to pound

Marques Colston--the steal of the whole draft, the saints landed a star

Laurence Maroney--the pats found their next great back

Joseph Addai--lucky son of a gun has manning handing off to him so he'll be good

DeMeco Ryans--tackling machine, he's gonna be really good

Marcus McNeil--if there was a lineman that shoulda made the pro bowl, it's him. no holding penalties called on him. and he blocks for LT, most of his TDs come from the left side, where mcneil blocks. that alone should get him recognition.

Devin Hester--if only more guys could return punts/kickoffs like him.

AJ Hawk--he's gonna be a dominant linebacker real soon. and if brady quinn gets drafted to the lions, i can't wait to see him get tackled by hawk the brother in law

please, let there be another rookie class like this.

Young - Wonder if he'll ever be able to make reads and use his arm. Doing it all with his legs right now. Which is what Vick did, and Vick was better at that as well. But to take your team to an elite level, youre gonna have to pass.

Leinhart - I think he'll be very solid. Not great, but very solid.

Cutler - Going into the season I predicted he will be the best of the 3 qbs. I'll still stand by that.

Bush - A little dissapointing.....but really, I'm not worried at all. Guaranteed to be a stud at some point.

Jones-Drew - Love the guy for basically winning my fantasy leagues for me! haha. Followed him in college, and knew he'd be good. But worried about his size and injury-proneness. But he made it thru the year and could be a stud for years. Just wonder how much beating he can take over the years. I saw him live once....hes tiny!

Maroney - Will be a stud next year, get him for your fantasy team!

Addai - Showed flashes of being great. If he can be more consistent , he could be really good.

Deangelo Williams - Also showed flashes of being great.

Mike Bell - Good year for a rookie and having to share with Tatum.

Marques Colston - Possible ROY this year. He looks really legit.

Santonio Holmes - Didnt do much this year, but looks like he could be really good in a couple years.

Vernon Davis - Another guy to keep an eye on. Sometimes seems lost but such a freak of nature athlete. Was hurt but started to come on at the end of the season though.

haha, but yeah, Hou Texans fans gotta be HATIN life with Mario Williams. HOW do you pass up on Reggie Bush? I mean, Mario will probably pan out to be a very solid DE. Hes just too athletic to not be at least solid. But I really think Reggie will become great in a couple years.

Here is my ranking:

1. Vince Young (Titans)
2. Devin Hester (Bears)
3. Reggie Bush (Saints)
4. Matt Leinart (Cardinals)
5. Jay Cutler (Broncos)

This is based on their performances and positive impact to their team.

i say vince young will win a COUPLE of super bowl with the titans. He is the anti Michael Vick because he thinks pass first and i=only runs when nessecary. cutler will be another great one i love his arm. leinart will not be as good he will be ok. Bush will be great. A.J. Hawk will be the best defensive player of this class he has been outstanding with the Packers so far.

I'm sure this is the first time there's been 3 rookie quarterbacks playing well -- in fact I can't think of another time there were even 3 rookie quarterbacks all starting at the same time.
