my husband is going to get me a tiffany necklace for my birthday-I just cannot decide between the heart or the oval tag - needing opinions on which one to get

My suggestion is to go for the Heart tag because anyone can wear the heart shape. The Oval in my opinion only suits certain women, believe it or not it will make the neck/chest area look wide which of course is unflattering to any of us. Also the heart stands out more, it's more elegant and playful. The oval is too serious.

The oval is boring and when I'm shopping or even going to the store somewhere, I always see people with the heart tag and usually not the oval tag. Both are great choices and are both beautiful pieces.

I have both. I LOVE the heart necklace. I own the double heart toggle necklace. The oval is beautiful, but the heart matches everything. Hope this helps!

Are you people kidding? The oval gets my vote, so much more classic and less childish. The heart was featured in almost every teenybopper movie and they even have 12 dollar reproductions sold at CLAIRE'S for godsakes. Just because many people have the heart, doesnt mean it's the best choice.

get the heart the oval one doesn't seem as pretty and when u see the heart u can rememeber the love of your husband
so get the heart it is ten times prettier than the oval most people have the heart

I got my wife the heart one for Christmas before we were married, and I think that was the right choice. It can be paired up better with a heart bracelet or other Tiffany jewelry. My wife has a more traditional sense of style, and the heart motif suits her better.

The heart is much more personal and more popular design.
the tag is nice and easier to find.
It is really upto you which design- your style, you taste, and may I add how lucky you are- I have been wanting one for about a year....!
