Should everytime I mention I'm South American in English Yahoo! Answers put a "white" before "South American" once that 90% of the people here automaticly assumes that I'm a dark-skinned spanish-indian mestizo?

Champagne, you give me an idea of asking another question: Why Canadians, yanks, Brits, etc, think that most South America is hot when it's exactly the opposite because of the high atittude?

Unbelievable! But don't worry I have the same problem and I am French. They think that the French people are dark !?

Gustavo I´m Mexican but, am I dark?
Most of people from Latin America are dark but it doesn´t mean that all must be. Americans think that all us are dark because the in migrants are dark. But for example my father is blond and blue-eyed and he is 100% mexican.
