I'm southern, some days I'm friendly. But, I've noticed that when you start talking to men, the first thing they bring up is their significant other. Why? I don't know them. I'm really just passing the time.

1. This is a minor complaint! Women also do it to men, and for the same reason - just to indicate that they are not available.

2. One alternative might be that they keep their relationship quiet, in the hope of having a "bit on the side" with you. Now that would be a reason to complain.

3. See the bigger picture, and leave the trivia alone.
