after 14mos employment i found work elsewhere; i verbally gave one month notice & then written. my nurse manager said "she'd miss my sassy self on unit" now i looked up def. of sassy- to me it's kinda has a neg connotation. what do ya'll say??

I would say it was a good thing if she is saying you will be missed. You probably don't put up with much and got a reputation on the job.

Well, she clearly meant it as a compliment. Probably she meant "spirited" or "lively". One of Webster's definitions is "distinctively smart and stylish". So, I think she liked you and will miss your vibrant personality.

i would take it as being a smart *** .maybe you were to much like her and she felt she had competition good for you
