Always...a nice (NOT revealing) little black dress does EVERYWHERE! Remember, nice black pumps or straps, earings, NO necklace, maybe a braclet. Remember, less is always more! Coco Channel said a woman should always look in the mirror before she leaves home, a remove one piece of jewelry. NO glitter and all that jazz. Soft make-up, clean unpolished nails. Hair NOT overdone. Don't drink too much, never complain about the food ("yuck" should be left out of your vocabulary that night!) and if you are served something you don't like, wait for a discreet moment and set your dish somewhere else (but do not hide it!)...smile alot, speak softly when spoken to, shake hands (with a firm grip..but not too firm!)...look people in the eyes and say their names alot in conversation...it not only helps you to remember their names, but the most lovely sound to any person, is their own name.
Have fun and be yourself!

If they're filthy rich, the fact is that you won't be able to compete in terms of moeny -- but you CAN stun if you do it right.

Keep it VERY simple, because cheap accessories look cheap.

Black always looks good. Dress that isn't revealing and comes ja little below your knee.

Don't put on any significant amount of makeup. Beter by far with none if you're not in the habit of using it, and possibly even if you are!

Get rid of every trace of hair from your legs, arms and face. You don't want to be remembered as "the girl with the moustache and hairy legs" or whatever.

Keep your hair very simple.

And your best asset? A smile. Practise it hard! And use it! Works every time. Look people straight in the eye and smile. Far more important than what you're wearing. They won't remember the dress -- but they'll remember the smile and the fact that you looked them straight in the eye.

The main staple for New Years Eve is a black dress with some silver colored sparkle (black pantyhose/shoes). That is the clasic New Years Eve attire but don't be afraid to stray from that. Any dress that you would consider too dressy for work will usually work. Remember that if you don't think you look festive enough you can always dress it up with accessories. Good Luck!

I think that you could never go wrong with a "little black dress"... it doesnt have to be little necessarily.. but something that looks simple, fun, something youre comforrtable in, and something thats kinda plain so you can easily accessorize. if you feel like youve dressed up too much you can always take off some accessories and vise versa! so i would wear a black cute dress, heels, and silver or gold accessories to jazz it up a bit!For accessories that are not too over the top i would go for earrings, bracelets, necklace, and anklet, one or two rings, and maybe a head band depending on how you going to do your hair!you can always get a snazzy purse, a belt, or hair accessory! just be comfortable and always wear a smile!!! Happy New Year!!!

Sounds fun! I would wear a really dressy gown, something that sparkles! A really cute clutch bag, (matching the gown) and your hair in a really nice up-do. I would eighther wear ballet flatts or stellettos, depending on what you feel more comfy in. Good luck! I hope I helped! Have tons of fun!

I would go w/a nice "little black dress" or a cocktail dress. Stick to about knee-length to tea-length(about at the calves level) But if you dress is strapless or spaghetti strapped, consider a wrap to wear over it. Pair w/nice(not gaudy, out-there) jewelry and simple shoes and you will do fine.

what you wear does'nt have to be expensive but still formal and should look high class.

dont wear black or white because if its a night party then you should wear somthing that isnt one color.

a nice design could be something with flowers or glitter etc. or something that will make you stand out but not too much

Number one, don't wear anything too revealing or provocative. Something elegant, understated, classic. Black or white are good. Something you feel comfortable in, also. Jewelry shouldn't be overdone. You want to project elegance and class most of all.

a cocktail dress
if it's less formal than that go for a knee length skirt and a dressy blouse
i would personally go for a pencil skirt, ankle boots, and a billowy blouse
