Try your makeup a new way? Take a long, luxurious bubble bath? Hang around with an unfortunate-looking friend?;) I'd like some suggestions, because I *definitely* need to feel beautiful and calm this weekend after a rather crummy week.

the beauty treatment you mentionedi is probably most popular, so here is my suggestion, and no joke i do this when i get down, I love to get all "fixed" up and go to a place like a mall, club, coffee house, etc. and flaunt it till every man in the room is paying attention. One i get a few winks and looks i feel renewed, like i still got "it"! I NEVER give out any personal information though, not even my real name. You cant be too cautious these days

I make my own facials. Or buy them from the store (sometimes just making your own is more handy):
-Orange Yogurt Mask
Ingredients Needed:
1 tsp plain yogurt (I chose Balkan Style)
the juice of 1/4 of an orange.
Stir to mix and then dip fingers into mixture and smooth onto face. The sensation is both cool and relaxing. Leave on for a five minutes and then rinse. If you are feeling sluggish, this is the perfect mask for you. The yogurt will cleanse and nourish. The orange is full of Vitamin C and AHA's.

Or I make some other beauty products as follows:
Aztec Chocolate Lip Balm
Ingredients:
2 ounces cocoa butter
4 drops peppermint essential oil
1 drop neroli essential oil
1 drop chocolate fragrance oil
1 tablespoon sweet almond oil
Melt the cocoa butter in a double boiler. Remove from heat and then add the sweet almond oil. Stir well to mix.
Add the essential oils and the chocolate oil. Stir to combine.
Pour the mixture into a 2-ounce pot (or you can use 8 1/4 ounce lip balm tubes). Allow to cool before using.
Aztec Chocolate Lips makes a nice gift, especially together with a mint lotion or a cocoa body butter.

Or I go shopping by a gorgeous shirt or skirt and go home dress up do my make up and go out on the town.

I take a long hot bath with bath oil in it. After that do my toe nails a pretty shade. After they dry, if you have time take a snooze or if you don't get dressed. Wear your hair a different way (maybe pulled up or back) and wear and choker type necklace. Smile. My week has been pretty crummy too so you have friends in that department. Hope you enjoy the weekend!!

Steps to make you feel better :) (I think you have most of these things, though I still list the price just in case)

1.Salt / foam bath w/ aromatic candles or incense if you want (min. $4)
2.Call a friend if you want while you're in the tub. (depends on how long you talk)
3.After, get a nice lotion, and smooth all over. (min. $2)
4.Read a book, even comics.(depends)
5.Do your nails. Do your toes if you really suck at your left hand. (min. $2)
6.Listen to a calming song. (try Psapp, Tricycle or Debussy, Claire de la Lune) (min. $.99 on iTunes)
7.Snuggle with pillows and a gajillion poofy blankets.(I think you have that)
8.Go to sleep. (min. 8 hours)

In the morning, take an invigorating shower. Listen to upbeat music while you are dressing, and spritz on a perfume or splash. (floral or fruity scents are my favorite, save the musk for a sensual day) ($7 and the cost of a radio)

i feel good if my skin is well hydrated and i ate healthy meals that day , i feel really good and beautiful after a strenuous workout and shower. it keeps me happy for hours on end. i love feeling and looking healthy. .
i think beauty is mainly about looking good without makeup because i consider makeup to be cheating or to give a temporary effect and can't look good except on healthy skin.
btw if this is your pic your are beautiful , go workout or read a good book or pray if you are religoius or meditate. i find prayer soothing and it is a must in my religion.
taking long walks , talking to a close person or both can help as well. go someplace for the weekend or even for a few hours to the beach or a place you love.

take a relaxing luxurious bubble bath with scented candles, rose petals and relaxing oils like chamomile and lavender. play your favourite music, switch off your mobile!!!
