Do you mean area or population?
Area - Russia is largest
Population - China is largest

I hate to inform you those of you who said that Russa is one of the largest countries. The area that we call Russia is or was the USSR which stand for the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics Russia was only a small area of this region. We commonly call that whole area Russia but actually that was incorrect. If I am not mistaking it was the capital or had the capital city for that area.
