Okay, first go to http://www.apple.com and click iPod+iTunes and download itunes, after you do this go to file, import and import all the songs you want, then take the USB cable made special for iPod and plug it into your ipod and computer, then in itunes it should say like my Ipod or something like that, then all you have to do is click the sons you want in your library, and click and drag them onhto your little ipod logo in itunes, there you go have fun!

Firstly congrats on getting an iPod! How to get music on there is really simple:

Step 1
Make sure that you have iTunes on your PC or Mac; if you don't have it then go to http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/ and download and then install it.

Step 2
Import some CDs that you have into iTunes, i.e. put a music CD into the CD ROM drive of your computer and when iTunes has done recognising the music etc, just click "import".

Step 3
Plug your iPod into your computer. iTunes should automatically recognise that an iPod has been plugged in. If it's the first time you've used it iTunes may ask you to name your iPod and once done, it will automatically copy any music that you have loaded into iTunes over onto your iPod.

You need to lay the iPod on a flat steady surface, like a table or kitchen worktop. Then take your chosen music CD's and carefully balance them on the iPod. I managed to get 37 albums on an iPod mini, but the iPod Video, with it's larger surface area can balance well over 100 CD's on it if you are careful enough.

Do you have iTunes installed on your computer? If not, you need it. Transfer all your music files to iTunes, plug your iPod in with the USB cord it came with, after a few seconds or minutes (if your cpu is as crappy as mine) it will register that the iPod is plugged in and it should automatically upload your music. Good luck!

Next, if you have playlists on your windows media player, press SYNC to download.

its really straight forward. go to itunes.com ownload the lateset version of itunes. once opn, import your cds by putting cd into computer and click on icon in the top corner-give it a couple of seconds and it should become obvious! check all the track details as each cd is imported, if they dont appear and come up as track 1, track 2 etc, right click on the track then click on get info-this will give you the chance to enter them manually. once you have done this, click on file then update ipod. hey presto it should br done. Any problems get back to me!

Why did he aid you do it in case you don't be attentive to ways? you could have advised him and in case you probably did, he shouldn't assume you to learn it on your own. tell him you don't be attentive to a thank you to given which you have diverse ipods. yet once you receive limewire or something like that, wait till ultimately the music lots then i think of you drag it onto your laptop.

i dont have an ipod, but i have an mp3 player. what i do is go to my windows media player, go to the sync list, and add what songs i want to it, and then hit sync, if an ipod is anything like my mp3 player, this should work, but of course it has to be hooked up to your computer. hope this helps.
