how do I transfer music from my Sony MP3 to my new PSP?

Please provide step by step instructions, including how I get the songs onto my hard drive (I assume I will have to make the transfer via my laptop).

If the music is from itunes, then you extremely won't be able to pay interest to it on your psp. Itunes music is secure and wont play on a psp. If that's music from yet another source *wink*, then it may artwork if that's an mp3, yet try downloading a converter from the internet
