I want to make throws, blankets, etc. If you know of some sites with free patterns let me know.

Join one of three--or all three--free groups at yahoo groups called knifty knitter or loom knitting or frame knitter.
I belong to all three and the members are great there. There are free patterns, photos of finished projects (you can upload yours there, too) and they are great with talking you thru or showing you via video link, how to make or fix your knitting as you go along.

In the search box put knifty or loom knit or whatever and you'll find them.
Provo Craft, maker of knifty knitter, has a website that shows all kinds of free projects, and some of the members at yahoo gorups have websites where they sell patterns, but offer free ones online to make, too.
Michaels, Hobby Lobby and Joann all have online free patterns for the looms. Other types of loom makers have patterns available and you can adapt them to knifty knitter looms, too ---such as decoraccents, knittingboard and others.
Get going and get crafty!

If your knitter is round, you can knit just partial circles, back and forth, to make long items, such as panels for afghans, for scarves, etc. If it is one of the long ones, you can make the same things listed above, as well as many others. Also, check out Mary Maxim Catalog online as they offer all those knitters, round, long, etc. My daughter made beautiful scarves for her sister and for me using one of the long looms......enjoy!!

Walmart Has somewhat a number of them. they have the around ones, set of four for greater or less 13.00 and that they have got the long looms set of four for 20.00. additionally they have the rectangle loom and so on.... Joann's has them to.
