can you answer this question for me? What were you doing when you were 8? Anything bad happen that year? Appharently, eight isn't mine.

When I was eight, my mom had a miscarriage and I saw a lot of blood in this one bathroom in a mall.
This year in August, a newspaper revealed two homocides in my area. The address? 8 tioga place.

oh, and I forgot one more detail of that story. The kids of the homocidal dad were 6 and "8" years old. But it was a good thing they didn't get hurt. They are now in custody with a relative. But I think the mom and her mom died.

Personally, I have a strong affinity towards even numbers. I love them, especially 4. Odd numbers make me feel a little uneasy, for some reason, like 5 and 7. But no, I don't really have an unlucky number. Either that or I'm really oblivious to any signs around me.
