It's about a common house fly who finds love (and dinner) in a rotting hamburger someone left on the counter.

I really like this song a lot -- it's one of my favorite one-hit wonders of the last few years. I always thought it was just a song about trying to talk to chicks. I go back and forth between my nice interpretation (that it's a nervous guy talking to a chick he completely worships) and my probably more realistic interpretation (that it's some slimeball using every cheesy line he can think of to pick up some chick). What makes me think it's probably the sleazy guy is the lyrics from when they break it down at the end:
----------------------------
"Suffer, Suffer,
You know you get no rubber,
Gone with a pretty girl
changing me like no other.

Suffer, Suffer,
You know there is no rubber,
Would you like a minute to
put that thing on your lover?"
----------------------------

What the hell does that mean? We're singing about a dude picking up a chick, and now all of a sudden we get a message on safe sex? I guess this is why I'm not an artist...
