I am 6 weeks into my pregnancy and I get so sick all of the time. Not just throwing up but migranes as well. When does this all end? Or is this going to last throughout the pregnancy?

It'll get better by your second trimester. In the meantime, keep some crackers and water by your bed to snack on. The crackers will help settle your stomach and the water will keep you hydrated from all of the fluid you are losing by tossing your cookies.

Typically symptoms of (all day sickness), last only the first trimester, but there are no absolutes in pregnancy!! You should always let your physician know about migraines don't just assume they are a part of your pregnancy. Having said that, remember that all of your hormone levels increase with pregnancy therefore some of the headache triggers are in much higher levels. For your vomiting try to back off of solids for a day, sip fluids separate from meals (at least 30 minutes apart), try broth, jello and popsicles. Slowly add dry toast, crackers and zwieback or melba. There are some medications for this that your doctor can prescribe which are extremely helpful and harmless to your baby (I had these symptoms when I was pregnant with my nine year old twins). Good Luck

i know exaclty what your going thro. im 13 weeks pregnant and i still feel the nausea, it is such an awful feeling. i cant exaclty tell u when it will end because all pregancies are different. for most women it usuall ends in the beginning of the 2nd trimester but for some women it may end sooner than taht or sometimes later. occasionally some women will have to experience it the whole time. just hang in there, here are a few tips that may help. drink plenty of water, but when you eat your meals dont drink anythign with it, wait til in between. eat some saltines right as you get out of bed, that way your stomach has somethign in it and your blood sugar level should be stable. take your prenatal vitamin right before bed because that can cause the nausiating feeling as well. when you do eat eat small, frequent meals instead of 3 large meals. but dont worry your beautiful baby at the end will be completely worth it

Your morning sickness usually end after the 1st 3 months. You can keep some crackers around because that can help whenever you feel sick. Then you may also ask your doctor for some alternatives to help. Congratulations and good luck with your pregnancy

every pregnancy is different. The morning sickness usually only lasts for a few weeks, maybe months....but it can last all the way through. If you are vomiting all the time and are having a hard time keeping anything down then you need to consult with your OB and they can give you something for it.
The migraines are caused by the hormonal shift in your body, they may go away, they may not. It just depends on you.

Been there, done that (twice). I threw up for most of both my pregnancies. I have two beautiful, healthy girls.

Make sure to communicate with your doctor about ANY medications you take. Keep something in your stomach, nibble on crackers. If it doesn't go away, talk to your doc about anti-nausea and pain medications. Also, research ginger, sea-bands and other non-medication type remedies.

Okay- I was just like this too.
I got a liquid protein drink and vitimeins.

The hormones are wild- that is the head ache .
This too shall pass, if this is just too bad, call the doctor they can get you some meds to help you.

I took dramamine and sleeping pills and
drank a protein drink and slept a lot.
