I mean a common, every day word... how goofy does that make you feel?

I KNOW lol! Sometimes you're just staring at this wrod...I mean WORD, and it just doesn't look write (OOOPS) right, and it's one you use a hundred times a day. I'm feelin' ya, Hun.....(it's called gettin' old) SHHHH ;-)

Wow, yes! It's no big deal though, really. You were just distracted, anxious, or honestly didn't know the correct spelling. When I was in 5th grade I made it to the regional spelling championship in NJ. There was a great deal of pressure and I had what I now imagine was a panic attack. I completely forget the alphabet. As I stood there to spell the word, absolutely nothing came out of my mouth. It was traumatic for me then but I can look back on it and understand why I was so anxious.

Yes and to feel any stupider I ask my daughter how to spell it! Talk about a look! The word was won't and shes 16. Ha Ha

I feel really goofy, esp since I am a Library Director by trade. But it is quite common.

yea it happens every once in a while nothing unusual i dont think dont feel goofy though just keep going and correct it later by secretly asking someone for help and deal with the stupid look on their face

My mom told me that while in high school, she forgot to spell the word "of." She ended up asking a friend how to spell it!

lol, all the time. I feel dumb but them the right spelling comes to me in a couple of seconds. I usually forget how to spell when I'm in a rush.

Yes I have especially when I am in a rush I fell like a real goof ball. I call those spells brain farts

No but you haver said a word so many times that it doesn't sound like waord anymore like milk ...say it 20 times and see if sound weird after that.
