I'd be tempted, but probably not. If you know the person, nothing good can come of it. If they wanted you to know something, they would tell you. However, from a lawyer's perspective, if they were using your computer and didn't log off, they have no reasonable expectation of privacy.....

I would say no, but it depends on your judgment. Would you want someone reading your email without you knowing? Once you can answer that question, you should know what to do.

It would really depend on the person.
I would be more likely to look over thier e-mails and such if they were female than male, and less likely to look thru thier stuff if I didn;t know them too well.
The simple truth from my perspective is that if they do not care enough about thier privacy to sign out, they do not deserve to have it.

No, I would not. That's invasion of a person's personal property. It's not the cool thing to do, so I wouldn't do it. And it might risk having that person mad at me. I can't stand it when people are mad at me.

I would not, unless I was highly suspicious of that person doing something that could potentially cause me harm, etc.
Just log them off and tell them later so they know what an honest guy you are. :)

Of course not! I don't read people's mail (even if it's opened), so why would I read their email?

i know this sounds kind of bad, but i would. if it was a friend then i would not, i would respect them but if it was a stranger like at a public computer in the library i would def read it. i would love every minute of it. like your own personal sitcom in the library!
