The actor is Michael Agarano. I don't think that his last name is mentioned. The character of Sid was more fictional and based on a sick rich kid, that let the Z-Boys skate in his pool. The other characters Tony Alva, Stacy Peralta, Jay Adams, Shogo, Peggy and Skip Engblom were actually a part of the whole group. And, the screenplay was written by Stacy Peralta. It was an awesome skate film!

I thought I got enough from the preview to know that it wasn't my style of film at all ... I'm sure it's well done and means something in the land of skate, but it just doesn't appeal to me overall to watch it.
