I had a D&C done, not because of a miscarriage or pregnancy. I had pallops that needed to be removed. This was done over a month ago. Two weeks after the procedure, my husband and I had sex (almost every day). My period feels like it is going to start, however, it has not. Has anyone gotten pregnant this quickly after having a D&C?

I think it is possible, because I had a miscarriage and a d&c done in jan(i think it was jan 16th to be exact) and I had to wait to weeks to do anything, well after that we began trying again and I found out in feb that I was pregnant and the pregnancy was fine I actually just had my daughter last month in november. So yes it is possible. I heard that after a d&c you are more fertile, i dont know how true that is but thats what i heard.

I doubt it. I had a d&c done on 8-18-2006 an the nurse said its possible to get pregnant as early as 2 weeks after but it throws your cycle off because your body is kinda in shock. It took 39 days for my cycle to come after the d&c. They say you can get pregnant quickly because you could ovulate at anytime. keyword "could" I've been trying since august and my first positive was on christmas day if I were you I'd chart my ovulation on a site like babymed.com or conceptionstore.com they are pretty good. good luck!

it is absolutely possible because when you get a d&c they clean out the uterus and inturn it becomes better conditions for the egg to grasp.
I have had a d&c before and was told that it could help with concepcion as well.

When I had my D&C done they told me it would be possible to get pregnant right away. While I didn't (I wasn't trying) I remember the doctor telling me it was possible.
