i am having pains, but they are really really low, like on my pelvic area, its not bad pain, but its very annoying, could this be stretching pains, even that low?? i am three months (12weeks) this is my second. i was showing very early with my son and i am showing now already, so could i just be stretching more? it seems like such a stupid question to call and ask my nurse, but i guess they are probably used to weird questions LOL
thanks for any help you can provide.

Sure, round ligament pains can start in your pelvic region that early, especially if your body's already been through it before. And don't worry about feeling like an idiot calling your nurse, 'cause they likely have heard MUCH sillier questions! Not that I'm calling yours silly, but yeah...

Try to relax and as you think of questions, write them down and take them to your next OB appointment! It made my life a heckuva lot easier on me, 'cause my brain turned to MUSH when I was pregnant!

I'm right there with you. I'm 12 weeks and I have just recently started having this pulling pain down low in my pelvic region near the crease where my leg is. My dr told me that if your early pains like this are mostly to one side or the other then it is most likely round ligament pain. This is my first and I am already showing so I guess that I have a lot of stretching to go. Good Luck with your pregnancy!!

I think I had those with my last few pregnancy's. Ouch they hurt. I was told they were the round ligament and after birth it would stop again. OUch.
It scared me at first.
I don't know much else about it.
No stupid questions when it comes to being pregnant.

Yes they can occur in that area too. When pregnant not for the first time you will feel more pulling and stretching and in different areas because your uterus is just getting back into position.
