Absolutely. I miscarried my first pregnancy, and I didn't have any pain whatsoever. My OB had me come in for ultrasounds a few times, but a heartbeat never developed, so at 10 weeks she called it a loss. She said my options were to either let it pass naturally or have a D&C (dilation and curretage, surgical scraping of the entire uterus). I opted for the D&C b/c for me, I couldn't take the emotional pain of carrying around a dead baby any longer. I also couldn't afford to take the time to let it all pass naturally--my doc said it could have been as long as 2 weeks before I'd even START to bleed and I was in school, so I opted for surgery.
So yeah, the only way I knew I was miscarrying was when I was 8 weeks pregnant and there was no heartbeat.

It's possible, though there will eventually be symptoms. Are you getting regular prenatal checkups? Your doctor should be checking for a heartbeat at every checkup. If you have reason to think the baby isn't okay, you really should go to the doctor. There is a medical procedure that has to be performed to clean out the uterus.

yes! my baby passed away at 8 weeks, i didnt start to bleed until week 12. when this happenes it is called a missed miscarriage, which means the baby passes away and doesnt come out until weeks to come. when you lose your symptoms or have cramping is when to worry, but go to the doctors and get an ultrasound to see what they say

Yes.
However, eventually you would bleed as the baby has to be expelled. It could take days or weeks. Some women must have a d&c done to remove the remains.
If you think you've miscarried, please see a doctor.

I have been given one greater ultrasound at 14 weeks. My midwife could no longer discover the heart beat with the doppler, yet fortunately she had a transportable ultrasound device. It grew to become out that my toddler replaced into so energetic that he in no way stayed in one spot long sufficient for the doppler to be geared in the direction of him! no longer listening to the heart beat by way of doppler is amazingly time-honored for the degree you're at. My midwife did no longer even attempt it at my 10 week appointment. precisely as a result: by using fact it replaced into very probably to no longer hear something, which might freak me out. the respond on your easily question is sure. that's achievable to miscarry and not comprehend it appropriate away. however that's a lot greater probably your little bean replaced into in basic terms interior the incorrect place to hearken to the heart beat by way of doppler. that's time-honored while they're nevertheless this small and have a lot of room to swim/flow around.

You would have to have bleeding, because the baby would have to come out, but you don't nessacerialy have to have cramping.
