My ex boyrfriend of 9 years, father of my 2 kids was accused almost 2 years ago for something. He denies it - Doesnt seem possible but you never know anyone. There are video tapes, that dont show anything. 2 years and he is still fighting strong waiting to get a trial. My family doesnt like him after this, they have seen him guilty in their eyes. We are no longer together becuz of this now just cuz I had to move. I am currently dating someone who is a pretty good guy which my family loves. But as the time I goes by my ex makes me happier, but I also enjoy that my fmaily approves...Any input?

It's up to you. You need to be with the one that you want to be with and the one that you love more. Don't be with him if your family likes or disaproves. It's your life not theirs. You have to choose not them or anyone else.Basically you need to be with the one that makes you the happiest and you want to be with. It doesn't matter which one your family likes or dislikes. Your the one who has to live with him and see him everyday and it's your life not theirs.

I suggest that you try to forget about your past with your ex because he is trying to get you in jail!!!! Stay with the guy that your family approves of. Obviously he cares about you and if he makes you happy then you're fine.

You've got to do what's right for you! Not your family. What makes you happy?
