Howdy,
what is the push lever on the bottom of bowl do?
right next the the drain screw? is it a gas primer?
a dirt/water purge?
I'm having trouble keeping it running
it will start with choke but not enough to go.

It maybe be a gas primer......Has it been setting up a long time....sounds to me like it is not getting enough fuel---check to make sure you have plenty of fuel in the tank and then make sure you are getting enough fuel to the carb...If it has set up for some time, the carb maybe gummed up and float is stuck..

Yea, the lever is a primer. Like "2much" said, check/clean the carb.
