Drown

That's like "would you rather be blind or deaf?" So hard to answer! People say drowning is like suffering through your lungs exploding, and it doesn't happen as quickly as it may look on TV or in movies. You've probably heard on the news, "The earth quake only lasted five seconds but people said it felt like minutes." I'm sure regardless of the real time it would take, it would feel like forever. I suppose if I were absolutely forced, I would pick to suffocate, but only because I really hate that water-up-the-nose sensation.

I think it would depend. In theory, you do suffocate when drowning. I wouldn't want to suffocate on a plastic bag, because that's lame; and drowning has that romanticism, like Ophelia. Drown so long as no one left me long enough to bloat!

Isn't it the same, but drowning with water and suffocating without?

either way, it still takes 3 minutes for you to die

not the most fun thing I can think of

drowning and suffocating are basically the same thing.
And btw.. drowning would take longer.

They are essentially the same thing. When you drown you suffocate.

I dunno...I love to swim, so I might like to die in the water...but at the same time, I don't want something I love to be the death of me.

I'll go with suffocating.

Drowning is cooler cause you can frolic in the water a bit before you go.
