I'm been an avid Harry potter reader for about 6-7 years. Its funny, I would think that my likes would have changed by now, and I would stop liking it but I haven't. What do you think makes the story so good and/or any insight into the final book?

I believe it's the fantasy of it. The fact that what seems to be an ordinary boy turns into a wizard and realizes that what he always thought were coincidence turned out to be powers.

The characters are written so well that they seem real. Just after reading a few pages you feel as if you truly know these people. You instantly like or hate them. I've read each book twice so far and may read them again.

As far as the next book goes, I believe Harry will enlist members of the DA to assist in finding the remaining Horcruxes. I also believe that Neville will play a very important part in finding them and helping defeat Voldemort. Sadly, I believe he will be one of those who die.

Simple. You are Harry. Throughout the entire series, you are him. Since he had no knowledge of the magical world, everything is a surprise. Growing up is a surprise for him, too, and since you're either growing up yourself or already have, on some level you are experiancing that with him, too. So, when his eyes pop out of his head at the sight of some new and wonderous bit of magic, so do yours since you are seeing this whole new world together. I honestly think that is the real bait behind the lines...what will happen to us next? What will we see that we've never seen before? What is in my past that I still don't know about yet? You become Harry when you turn the pages, and you just can't wait to see what happens to him next!
