I gonna have to go with::::

Sirius Black.

He isn't all that is he percieved to be, he has flip flopped through good and evil in the eyes of the puplic. He is Harry's godfather and only trust worthy adult to him (besides dumbledore, but he dies.) All in all, he has proven to be the most interesting and intricate character of them all.

There are so many interesting characters! That's what I like best about JK Rowling - her characters all have extraordinary depth. I would say that Dumbledore is the most interesting, though. He was always hailed as the character who was always right, and could never be fooled, but the only mistake he ever made (in trusting Snape) ultimately led to his death. :o( It just shows that even the best of us can make mistakes from time to time, and that Dumbledore was only human after all.

Luna Lovegood, i really hope whoever's playing her in the Order of Phoenix is good- she's such a mysterious character, like Prof trelawney.

Snape has the whole double agent thing going on for him, so he's one to watch out for in the 7th book.

Hermione is getting a little sketchy nowadays, her character hasn't changed at all and she's so grown up and mature. Like Ron said in the 4th movie: Girls, they get scary when they're older.

Ron's the funny man of the movie, but his brothers are really the funny ones in the book. I really hope that the joke shop is as eye-popping as it's described in the 6th book, but we'll have to wait and see in the half blood prince movie.

I have to agree with you -- Snape is by far the most interesting character. He is multi-layered, and I'm still trying to figure out who's side he's on (despite the last book - I really am wondering about that ending).

Albus Dumbledore. He was a great and powerful wizard that many respected and some feared. In fact, he was known to be the only wizard that Voldermoth was afraid of. He was kind and wise and a great role model to the kids in his school. He inspired them to do great things and aroused in them deep feelings of loyalty towards him. Harry considers himself to be "Dumbledore's man through and through". People trusted and believed in Dumbledore so much so that they accepted Severus Snape as one of the good guys because Dumbledore believed he was on their side. Dumbledore had many well kept secrets and he always seemed wise and knowledgeable.

Dumbledore. Bet he could tell some stories...

Or maybe Arthur Weasley, I always like an eccentric. Or if we're doing eccentric, Luna Lovegood - everyone needs a batty friend!

So many to choose from!!! How about Peeves?

I agree with you but I also think that Voldemort is pretty interesting- the things that triggered him to turn out to be the character that he is. He is so evil but can anyone be 100% evil? Is there anything good about him? He is such an evil, hated character that it makes him interesting...
