Modeling clay can't be baked. It will melt. Fimo clay or plastic clay can be baked but it will come with the directions on the wrapper. If there are no baking directions on your Creative Kids Modeling Clay, DON'T bake it.

If it is polymer or PVC clay, the standard is 250 to 275 degrees for most brands, and it is usually baked for under 10-15 mins, but that depends on brand, number of items being cooked at the same time and the thickness of each item.

If it is self hardening or paper clay, don't bake it, let it air dry, which it will do fairly quickly. It becomes rock hard overnite, but is hard enough to paint, etc after a couple of hours.

Faber castel company makes a brand called Creativity for Kids and it comes in a kit. Check their website to see what type of clay you actually have.

If it is polymer clay, make sure to use items that will not be used for food again to scultp it and bake it as the chemicals can adhere andmake the items not safe for food after using the clay with them AND make sure you have a well venitilated workspace/oven area as the fumes that come off it when it bakes can be toxic in large amount.

I use a toaster oven with a thermostat/temp dial, used only for my polymer clays/art projects and I use it only in my kitchen with tha back door open and that solves those problems for me.

first check the ingredients...i think that's an oil based product and will catch fire. If not contact the manufacturer for instructions. Some aren't made to be baked.
