Bertha - It seems to carry a stigma with it. I envision some big fat old woman with 3 teeth and a wig.

Matilda. There are some names, like the ones mentioned, which would only look good on an old lady - however, you have to go through your whole life with that name, & you really can't imagine a kid with these names, can you?

True story my mom told me.
When she was in grade school, there was a family with the last name Pigg. The parents were actually mean enough to name their daughter Ima.
Ima Pigg.
No joke.

Cunegonde. She is a character from Voltaire's Candide who is kidnapped by pirates and has her buttocks cut off. Ugly name and horrific fate. Not a winner in the luck stakes our poor old Cunegonde!

Ok these aren't really ugly they're just STUPID!!! I know someone who named their daughter Abcde (yes the first five letters of the alphabet pronounced absedy) and also twin boys named orangejello and lemonjello (orange pronounced like duck l'orange and lemon like lamont- strange emphasis on letters) I think they're dumb names don't you agree???
