Songs played with a slide?

ok so i learned to play free bird (lynyrd skynyrd song) and it uses a slide, and i was wondering what other good rock songs used a slide if any? and also, any suggestions on buying a slide?

Check out Sonny Landreth. He plays a slide really well and although considered a blues musician, his songs rock! His best album is "Outward Boound."
I recall a song by The Firm (featuring Jimmy Page on slide and Paul Rodgers on vocals) from the mid-1980's called "Satisfaction Guaranteed" that utilized the slide guitar really well.
