It means the same as, "See you around."
Basically it means, "Goodbye forever!"

unfortunately I would take this as a polite brush off. In future if someone says "I'll speak to you later" don't immediately offer your telephone number, if she really wants it she will make a point of asking you for it.
If you are nervous about calling girls, they could be feeling just the same. Any girl giving our her telephone number must be prepared to receive a call.
If they give you a mobile number why not text instead, but what do you have to lose by picking up a phone and saying hi??

One of my closest friends always says, "I'll call you soon," or "I'll talk to you sometime later." I love her and she loves me. But when it comes to calling, it seems like I'm the one who's doing most of the calling. She rarely calls unless she sees that I've called her a few times in the course of the week. But honest to god, that's what I think "I'll call you soon" means.
You don't say that to someone and then go a week or two without actually making contact with them.
Really, it depends on the girl. Some girls can be upfront when they say "I'll speak to you later" and mean that they'll actually talk to you sometime soon. Other girls will just leave you hanging. It's the waiting that can kill you, though.

I generally mean it when I say it, but I know a lot of people who just say it because they don't know how else to end a conversation. So no, it does not mean she wants to talk. In fact, it could have meant she just wanted a way out of the conversation! If she hasn't called after a week, she probably won't. Hopefully I'm wrong.

"I'll speak to you later" can mean two things unfortunately.
Either she means she hasn't got time at the moment and she sincerely wants to speak to you later OR she is too polite to say she isn't interested.
Let her have your number so she can ring if she wants to but if you don't hear from her don't be too upset.
If she loses your number but still wants to talk to you she will find a way.
Good luck.... I hope she calls!

She is probably busy, and will call if she is interested. Some times you have to suck your pride in if you really are interested and call that person, but you don't have her number? I am sorry but if she hasn't called then you should just drop it and go look for someone else, and she didn't give u her number, she might be shy or she wasn't really interested.

By the sounds of all your questions you seem pretty desperate. If she hasn't called after a week then she probably isn't that interested.

don't ever give a girl your number, it makes them feel in control, always take her number and when you ring her let it ring once and hang up, if she wants to talk she will see a missed call and ring you,, always stay 1 step ahead of her,, welcome to the world of dating
