My boss stink's so bad. He bent over in front of me the other day and he literally made me gag. The smell that came from that man's butt could possibly wipe out a whole army of garbage men. He has skid mark's, his teeth are almost green and his underarm.. well I won't go into the gruesome detail's. My question is.. How do I tell him that he smell's without getting fired? I have him in my face all day and I'm afraid that I might lose my job if I tell him that he stink's. Any idea's?

Suggest to him that he takes a bath everyday. I know some workplaces requires their workers not to smell either badly like your boss or with loads of perfume on their body like the ladies which could effect other people's senses like customers. I use to have a similar situation to yours. When I was in college, I had this Chemistry professor who use to fart every time for no reason. Interestingly there was no sulfuric smell usually associated with passing methane gases. The sweet old lady professor probably had intestinal/medical problems. None of the students in her small class really said anything until we were at the student lounge, library, or cafeteria.

Some men are clueless to body odor and bad breath. We had a intervention once with one of my co-workers. He was embarrassed but then thanked us and came into work not smelling and eating breath mints. Mind you, he wasn't our boss. I think the gift basket with all the toiletries is a great idea.

Telling your boss that he needs to practice better hygene is ok, it is Illegel for him to fire you over it. There agencies that can back you up if necessary

Wear a t-shirt written on it "Get a shower"; "I will buy you a toothpaste", or apply perfumes on yourself exaggeratedly. Maybe he will feel inconfident.

make him a basket with deodorant, toothbrush, toothpaste, baby wipes, toilet paper, cologne, all that crap, and put it on his desk or whatever and don't tell him you left it lol. pretty easy
