Well, the fact that Muslims are a significant minority in India and participate in the political process might make it harder for them to tilt toward Israel, when the Indian Muslims would be more sympathetic toward the Palestinians. We see that in the homeland created especially for Indian Muslims, Pakistan. They are rabidly anti-West, not merely anti-Israel.

I find it a very unlikely alliance. Outside of a mutual dislike of Islam, there is little to base a relationship upon.
