I know how to do the 10x10 squares one with scores by quarter, but are there any other ones that can be done for just one game? If you know of any - please explain.

That's the only kind I've ever seen. I guess an alternative would be to do it by time--will there be a score during each 5 minute block of the game? Split the pot evenly by points scored, so if there are 2 TD's in your block you get 14 shares of the prize money, a FG gets you three shares, and so on.

Lame as the 10x10 is, it is probably the only way simple enough to get a bunch of people from the office to put a buck on the game.

Go with Bohunk's link--that looks all right, as long as everyone has a minute to fill out a form.

I worked at a sports bar in Chicago for years, and Squares is the only managable pools for single games that I've seen. All the others require an ongoing group of the same people for the season with a carry-over pot. The only other thing we ever did was Vegas-style side bets (coin toss, first score, first turnover, etc.) for the Super Bowl, but that gets to be a headache on a regular basis. Good Luck!
P.S. Found this one on the net, but never tried it: http://football.about.com/od/officepools/a/poolprog.htm
