Im not going to give a smart aleck answer, but how long is the process of a miscarriage? I thought it was something that happens pretty quick, like over a couple of days or one day. I think you should check with your caregiver about your situation. I think the more important thing for you is to take care of your health. I don't see how you will still be in the process of miscarrying come the new year. Definitely go see your doctor and ask him about this. Sorry about your loss.

A friend of mine went through the same thing. She had lost her baby, but her body hadn't passed it yet and she wanted it to happen natually. She didn't want to just do the D & C because it felt like an abortion to her. It took her a week or two to finally have the miscarriage. I think drinking in moderation is okay. Maybe a drink or two at the most. But, be careful. If you are already bleeding heavily, it could make things a little more difficult. Alcohol is a blood thinner. You don't want to put yourself in danger also.

Yikes -- how do you know you're having a miscarriage? I guess I wouldn't because if you end up needing some kind of emergency help at the hospital it could cause problems with the anesthesia. It's still a couple of days until New Years eve -- maybe you'll have completed the miscarriage by then. I guess I wouldn't feel much like celebrating if my body was in such upheval anyway.

Good luck, feel better.

Has the miscarriage been confirmed by a doctor and drinking is an intelligent choice, Alcohol thin the blood which can cause you to bleed to death.

Sorry for your loss don't make it a double

Depends. If you are taking medication to induce a miscarriage, no you can not drink. You can not drink while taking any medication. It will cause excess bleeding. If you had a miscarriage, then by all means, drink up. If you are naturally miscarrying, then that is your decision. You could possibly not miscarry, then you have a baby with alcohol syndrome.

I'm not sure I fully understand your question. Did you already have a miscarriage? You need to go to the doctor to make sure that it was/is complete. If you are no longer pregnant I don't see why you couldn't have a drink.

If you are already having a miscarriage, it won't hurt anything else, but why the need to drink at a time like this? You seem very immature.

If you are sure that you are definatley miscarrying...Yes. It may change your blood flow as alcohol acts like a blood thinner...just keep an eye on it and listen to your body.

I am not understanding.

Are you saying you had a miscarriage but did not fully eject the fetus?

Are you waiting to have a D and C?

Do you think you are having a miscarriage?
