There are all sorts of "at home remedies" for yeast infections, but I mean God knows if those will work! One that I've heard from a few people is putting honey.. uh.. down below, but I mean please don't!

I'd say go buy an over the counter product if you don't want anyone to know - or, go see a doctor. Doctor's keep things confidential.

I'd really suggest you to go see a gyn about it before you try to go with any over-the-counter medication. He will be able to direct you toward the best treatment and plus, he wil make sure you really have a yeast infection going on. Because if you don't have a yeast infection and treat yourself even though, this is likely going to disrupt your vaginal flora, this will kill all the good vaginal bacteria and this way, this makes it more likely to catch a vaginal infection.

So by going to the gyn, you will make sure you don't end up with a vaginal infection you didn't have to begin with.

You can go to your local drug store and buy medication for yeast infection (it's normal for woman to get them) or sometimes douching with vinegar and water will help (not for everyone). There is no reason to be embarrassed it happens to almost all of us.

if you have never had one before you need to go to your MD or your OB/GYN...they will give you samples or an Rx for medication.

If you have already been diagnosed with one in the past and you recogize the symptoms then one of the over the counter methods may work.

eating yougart several times a week (the kind with "love cultures") it will say this on the container... will benefit while you have this one and keep you from getting them in the furture.

Make sure you are not wearing tight clothing.
