I cringe whenever a new Bond film comes out. They're boring as hell. But my husband loves Bond films and wants me to go with him. So, what is it? The gratuitous explosions? The sexy women? Why do some men like those boring movies? (I've asked him-he just gives me wit, not real answers.)

Everything you've mentioned and more. Most guys pretended they were action heroes when they were younger and James Bond is someone most men would want to be. Sexy, loved by woman and an exciting life.

Its not difficult to figure out. He is always in control. He is suave and debonair. Especially when Sean Connery played him. He is handsome. All the women loved him. He is a super hero. He is what every man wants to be. Clark Gable appealed to most men also. Another thing there is a tongue-in-cheek quality about them.

as much because it pains me to assert this, Bond is greater the ladies guy, yet, Bond has in simple terms had human women individuals. in terms of which Bond grow to be the bigger females guy as a subsection question, Connery palms down. I provide bonus factors to Kirk for the alien factor.
