my loser ex, after just getting visits back with our daughter, calls to change the 3rd one, after being told by the judge not to try changing them. So I let him change it; but I did it for our daughter not for that asshole.

I think you should talk to the judge and let him/her know about the changes. I dont think they'll be happy.

That's OK for holidays, but put your foot down and let him know beforehand! Your doing a good thing making sure your daughter has time with him, but he's going to have to get his a*$ in gear!

Probably a little bit of both.
Please don't do that too often... after a while it will end up hurting your daughter. It will but you in the position of the 'bad guy' with all the power. Let the court dictate the rules. That way, you get to be mom, and he has to be responsible for his own choices. I've seen too many of my friends in your situation. They don't want their child to think ill of their father. But... that's HIS responsibility. Please don't try to mother him too. He is supposed to be an adult.

As a one-shot deal, it's an act of kindness.
If he tries to make a habit of it, stand your ground. Giving in regularly may potentially affect the judge's rulings in future matters.

Call me, if you need any dirty deeds done dirt cheap! I can fix it so your daughter visits your ex at his hospital bed! But that will cost an extra 50 cents!
