I for one thing she is self-centered, but at the same time kinda giving.

And yeah, she does give girls a chance to be models, and helps them out. At the same time, she seems to always say "You need to do what I do..." or "Be like me." or something.

I think she stared off on a really good note, but as time went on, the ANTM show became about ratings and drama, not who could be a model. Contestants of the show also claim that Tyra did not provide any tips unless until the panel. Otherwise Tyra was no where to be found.

I don't get a chance to see her talk show, but I have seen clips and she always brings the topic back to her. I use to wonder why she was single, but I see now why she is single. She is too into herself. She plays off as she is giving, but I think she changed. SHe is all about ratings and drama and forgot the people she was trying to help.

I kinda like her, but sometimes I think she is pushing the limits too much to make herself likable or trying too hard to look smart and witty. I also find her somewhat in-genuine and unstable; lately she has been gaining a lot of weight and seems like somethings is bothering her deep inside (meaning she has issues) well, it could be something tragic from her past or maybe just constant stress of her daily life; whatever it is, that is making her look slightly out of balance. However I give her thumbs up for always putting herself out there and aiming for the best; no matter what comes out of it. She is also trying to show that not all models lead the stereo-type model life abusing drugs, alcohol, and being promiscuous. Tyra is a good proof that you can be smart and beautiful but she needs to show us that she can manage her eating habits because it is not healthy to lose and gain weight constantly as that will put her at high risk for: diabetes, cancer, high blood pressure, high cholesterol and several other health complications that may result from such bad diet. So get back on the health-train Tyra and show the younger ones that u can take control of your life and do not have to take it out on food when you r down!

Without passing judgement I think Tyra Bans is a human being doing her best and trying to achieve her very own goals they way she wants and how she wants. She appears aggressive to those who aren't, she appears self centered and conceeded by those who aren't sure of themselves. Most people portray themselves as others in order to achieve their goals and it often times isn't right but we can't judge...people believe she is trying to imulate Oprah, I don't agree, however who wouldn't want to carry Oprah's load for a day? Not literally but to feel the sense of acheivement or accomplishmnt on that level has to feel really good and I believe Tyra Banks just wants to be successful!

I love America's Next Top Model but I think her ego is completely out of control no matter how much she tries to act nice.

I like Tyra Banks because she is not afraid to be who she is. But homegirls shows are so damn corny. I don't even watch them anymore unless a celeb is on.

Peace

i dont like the idea that she is copying Oprah, she wouldnt be able to beat that person, I think hosting is not her forte. I do like her show America's Next Top Model, its more her.

i think shes a very good role model. shes been through so much. so its easy for her to relate. then she can say Ive been there and that's not where you wanna go or that's what you wanna do to end up here. i think its all helpful. some advice just doesn't mean much unless it comes from someone whose been there and done that.
