My 3.5 yr old son is walking around singing this in time with his steps.....lol:

I don't care what I do,
I don't care about wearning shoes,
the farmer doesnt come to me, I don't care about babies,
listen to me, I don't talk to you,
don't say dat word, I don't care what I do
but I don't, I dont care...

He has impeccable rythym....should I harness it, or leave him be? I don't want to force drum lessons on him and make him HATE me AND the instrument....

Sounds like a very creative kid. I think you need to nurture his creative side. He may like drum lessons or another instrument. Good luck and have a Happy New Year.

I would buy him a set and let him just play around with it. I f he has talent let him take lessons he'll tell you if he doesn't want to and then don't make him. It's great to let them try anything and let them find what they really enjoy. Some places will ofer the first feww lessons free to see if it is what they want and if it's not move on to something else. I like his song it is reaally cute.
