Download iTunes from the Apple website. Add music to iTunes either by importing a CD, or use the iTunes store (in the menu on the left hand side of your screen) to download tracks.
Then simply plug your iPod in to your computer via usb socket, and iTunes should automatically detect your iPod, and give you on screen instructions to load music on to your iPod.
Hope this helps.

First you need to download iTunes:
http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/
After you download it, open the program and load all your songs into it form your shared folder. You can drag the songs from the folder to iTunes and they'll become part of your library.
Then connect the iPod and syncronize it, that way all the music you have in iTunes will be load to your iPod.
Hope this helps and good luck.
