I was reading that former President Ford is going to buried at Capitol Rotunda. The article also mentioned 10 other presidents were honorably buried there, who are they?

No. President Ford is going to lie in STATE in the Rotunda. He will be buried in Grand Rapids, Michigan. I believe on the presidential library grounds.

Here is more info on those who have lain in state:

He will be laying in state at the rotunda. No one is buried there. Heads of state are taken there so people can go and pay their final respects. President Ford will be buried at the site of his library in Grand Rapids Michigan.

As the other answers have stated, no president is buried or will be buried at the Capitol, although there are two individuals buried on the capital grounds. But I thought I would answer the question you asked and list the names, positions in government, and year of their death of those who have lain in state in the rotunda of the Capitol.

In order of their appearance in the rotunda, they are:

James Garfield -- President, US Representative -- 1881

John Alexander Logan -- US Senator, US Representative -- 1886

William McKinley -- President, Governor of Ohio, US Representative -- 1901

Piere Charles L'Enfant -- Planner of Washington, DC -- L'Enfant died in 1825 and was buried in Maryland. His remains were transferred to Arlington National Cemetary in 1909, which is when he laid in state in the Capitol.

George Dewey -- US Navy Admiral -- 1917

Unknown Soldier of Worl War I -- 1921

Warren Harding -- President, US Senator -- 1923

William Howard Taft -- Chief Justice of the US, President -- 1930

John Pershing -- US Army General -- 1948

Robert Taft -- US Representative -- 1953

Lyndon Baynes Johnson -- President, Vice President, US Senator, US Representative -- 1973

Hubert H. Humphrey -- Vice President, US Senator -- 1978

Unknown Soldier of the Vietnam Era -- 1984

Claude Denson Pepper -- US Senator, US Representative -- 1989
