I have just started, lets say i day ago. I know I won't get it the first time, but how long should it take before I REALLY need help?

I personally had a friend who was much better than me. He watched me and gave me advice and I got it the same day.

It took me about a week before a could ollie a curb. It can take some time get the timing down.

i got it in about 15 mins and i'm a woman.... It all depends on how coordinated you are. some people are better at different physical activities than others. I can ollie but I am terrible at tic-tac-ing but i rock the california roll! And besides.. its a social sport so get out there and ask some people for help.. people love to help!

If your dedicated and you practice a lot, you can probably get it in a week.

It took me quite a while.

I suggest doing it in place first, then you do it in motion.
When I was trying to learn I practiced in grass. Try it!

I say give yourself time to get use to it: maybe 2 weeks, 3 weeks tops.

its not the easiest thing to learn
with patience, hard work, and luck you'll get it.
